TSE students and staff take part in the race against cancer
On Sunday 4 February, TSE students and members of the administration took part in the Toulouse Oncorun cancer run. Participants could choose between a 5 km or a 10 km run.
This charity event was organised as part of World Cancer Day. This was the 6th edition.
The TSE Sports Office therefore proposed this race to all students, so that they could get involved in this cause. Members of the administration also felt involved and decided to join the race.
In all, no fewer than 2,500 people took part, with 44 teams taking part. The 4 main winning teams were Mobilisation Étudiante (AEPT), Mobilisation Entreprises (CRCT), Générosité Étudiante (BDS-IPSA) and Générosité Entreprises (ELLYE). A total of €36,000 was raised for cancer research.
This race will be repeated next year for its 7th edition, in the hope that the participation rate and the funds raised will be just as high.
