Join us to share an informal talk to discuss with an expert on a hot topic!
The concept is simple: a Talk, an open discussion and a cocktail to close the event (offered by the TSE Alumni association).
For its first edition, we are glad to invite Peter Fraser, Former Head of the Gas, Coal and Power (GCP) Markets Division at the International Energy Agency (IEA).
Peter has over 30 years of experience in energy policy. He was head of the GCP Markets Division from 2016-2022. This was his second tour of duty at the IEA, where he had been a senior electricity policy advisor from 1998-2004. In between, he worked at the Ontario Energy Board, the energy regulator in the Canadian province of Ontario, where he was most recently Vice President.
The talk will be about the current energy crisis, and in particular on the situation of the gas and electricity markets in Europe. Peter will kindly share its view and latest IEA analysis on this hot topic, notably with the recent publications of the Gas Market Report Q4 22 and the Electricity Market Report 2023.
