Working for Professor Astrid Hopfensitz on the following research study: "Role of Emotions". Task: Achieved an automatic and precise internet data collection of various European Parliaments. Carried out a preliminary analysis of the main hypothesis: Do the facial features of candidates attract voters? (Big Data and Econometrics; Python). Novelty: To rate these emotions, we use FaceReader (by Noldus) though the webscraped members' portraits.

Working for Professors Manuel García-Santana and Julian Di Giovanni on the following research study: "Public Procurement and Allocative Efficiency in the Private Sector". Task: Carried out the construction of a novel Spanish database based on public procurement (Big Data; R and STATA). Relevance: The study of the misallocation of resources is a promising field that can be relevant for growth economics, the study of business cycles and political economy.
