A few months after the release of his book “The Economics of Climate (In)action”, Christian Gollier was in Paris for the Alumni Talk Tail dedicated to climate issues.
On Thursday, March 19, 2026, more than 20 alumni gathered at the Institut Louis Bachelier—an ideal setting to exchange ideas, debate, and share perspectives on climate challenges. Two main topics were discussed: the carbon tax and why this system is considered the fairest in tackling climate change, as well as the ETS, particularly the adverse effect of a decrease in the carbon price on climate policies.
The event brought together part of the alumni community along with representatives from TSE, including Vicky Barham, Director of TSE, and François Poinas, Dean of Education, who presented the school’s latest updates and ambitions.
A big thank you to Christian Gollier for his insightful talk on his latest book, which sparked rich and engaging discussions.
Congratulations as well to the TSE Alumni Association for organizing this event.
👏 Thank you all for your presence and commitment!
