Emails that are sent to this address are redirected to one or several personal or professional email address that you will have completed in your alumni account. This email can be modified any time on the Alumni website: http://alumni.tse-fr.eu : by clicking on “Edit my account / lifetime email”
Please note: the status of Lifetime email address is set by default as “Off” deactivate. If you wish to activate it, you need to select the “On” status first.
The advantages of the lifetime email address are as follow :

- It will be available as long as the TSE alumni website will exist
- It remains active even if your main email address changes (end of ISP subscription, new job, …)
- Your principal email address is kept confidential, unless if you wish the contrary
- You are free to decide to use or not use your lifetime email address
- It is semi-intuitive and therefore very easy to remember (mainly consits of the first name and last name except in case of homonymy)
- It allows you to be identified as part of the TSE community
- It allows you to keep in touch more easily with the TSE alumni network
Most email programs allow you to set up your account so that mail appears to originate from a different address than the one you are actually using.
If you would like your mail to appear as if it is originating from your @tse-alumni.org address instead of from your external account, you need to modify this option in your email client.
In most programs, the options that should be changed are Email Address and Reply-to. Each email client program is somewhat different in where these options exist. This option is also available in GMail's webmail as well. You'll want to set up an account within your email client where these options reflect your @tse-alumni.org.
