I am a junior software developer, specialising in Filemaker development (certified for Filemaker 14).
So I've got excellent IT skills, both software and hardware:
- Day to day, I develop database solutions using Filemaker, from discussing the client's concept to deploying its solution.
- I've got knowledge of PHP and C# through self-learning. I am particularly interested in integrating Filemaker data with web services, customer websites and apps.
- I designed marketing emails in HTML and website banners using GIMP.
- I can also do website management (Google Analytics).
Plus a passion for the environment, video games, beer and food!

Responsible for the development of a robust research methodology, data collection and analysis for:
- a national project on the renewable heat industry commissioned by the Department of Energy and Climate Change. I also participated in writing the final report and presented the results of the research to a panel of senior members of DECC.
- internal research.
I was responsible for providing research and business management information to managers and directors of the company (business development, social media performance, etc.), as well as managing Employer First's online profile (updating the company's website, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+).
I was also in charge of IT support and I developed a bespoke Customer Relationship Management tool for Employer First, using Filemaker Pro 13, that I also maintained according to the company's needs.

Employer First is a newly created organisation that is supporting local Low Carbon businesses to take ownership of their skills needs. I defined the Low Carbon sector by synthesising various reports recently written by city councils and the Department for Business Innovation and Skills.
I created a database of 8000 potential Low Carbon businesses in the East Midlands by rigorously merging and adapting two existing databases in Excel.
I effectively liaised with staff at the University of Nottingham to make Employer First better known. I organised a meeting in which I presented the company.

Vittavi is a French Health Care and Insurance company for students only. I sold their products in teams of two or three salespersons and we were in direct competition. I welcomed the students before they started their University registration process and I persuaded them to choose Vittavi instead of the competitor. I worked under high pressure to sell more insurance products. From this I developed strong communication skills.
